While the mighty Mississippi keeps rising, tens of thousands poured down to the banks for a weekend of music known as Beale Street Music Festival. Propelled by the triumphant Grizzlies, Memphis (the city and the people) sang along and soaked in the culture. From Jerry Lee Lewis to MGMT, from Amy Lavere to Mumford and Sons, I was really excited about the line-up and wasn’t diappointed!
